Do not apply excessive force when duplicating the key. Exert the same pressure that has been used for adjusting, otherwise if there is excess force on the probe the duplicate will be too deep. Check that when carrying out the depth adjustment the probe is without the spring system. If you notice any looseness in the probe, contact technical support.

If the vice on the side of the cutter is badly damaged, replace it following the adjustment directions that come with the new grips, using the adjustment tools.
